A CLUB FOR EVERYONE

The Kiwanis family is home to members of all ages and abilities, from K-Kids for our youngest members to Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities. We are a network of communities working together to improve the lives of children everywhere. No matter where you are in life, Kiwanis has a place for you.

The Liftlock Aktion Club, for adults with disabilities, was co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Scott's Plains. The Liftlock Aktion Club provided community service through the distribution of Teddy Bears to the Peterborough Police, Fire Department, and Hospital.

K-Kids Clubs are for our youngest members. We know it's never to early to learn the value of helping others. Through sponsorship, Kiwanis helps elementary students come together with the assistance of teachers to make a difference in their schools and local communities.

Builders Clubs are for middle school students with interests in helping others and  being involved in their communities. Students encounter opportunities to build their leadership skills and share compassion for others, by completing service projects in their community, and raising funds for causes they believe in.

Secondary schools around the world offer Key Clubs, providing a place for teenagers to belong, grow, and serve their communities. Members of Key Club are invited to attend the Kiwanis Key Leader Conference, a conference that focuses on developing leadership skills, brainstorming new ideas, and bringing clubs together.

Circle K International (CKI) Clubs are found on post-secondary campuses worldwide.  Members work together to fundraise, raise awareness, and offer service to their local communities. Clubs choose both a local and international organization to focus their efforts each year.

CLUB OF SCOTT'S PLAINS

Peterborough is home to two Kiwanis clubs. The Kiwanis Club of Scott's Plains and the Kiwanis Club of Peterborough operate as separate clubs, united over the same goal: to improve the lives of children. While each club hosts service projects of their own, some projects are a collaboration, such as the Kiwanis Music Festival.
